We are in the process of negotiating with the various accommodation options in Mariehamn. Since Archipelacon 2 will be held during the busy tourist season on the Åland Islands, the hotel prices will not be the cheapest, but we are doing our best to find the more affordable options, as well as getting good hotel deals for our members.
There are several hotels located near the convention site. The closest one is Hotel Arkipelag, across the road from Alandica convention centre. In addition to more expensive hotels, there are more budget options available within and near Mariehamn. There are cottages, which can be rented with a larger group, and guesthouse-style accommodation options. Mariehamn also has some Aribnbs available during the summer.
